Current Information & Events

Asheville's Downtown After 5 has returned for the 25th season on funky Lexington Avenue at I-240.  This event takes place on the third Friday of each month from May through September.  You can enjoy live music, a variety of local food, drinks and entertainment. Follow this link for more information.  And, it's only a half mile from our bed and breakfast.

Downtown Asheville Art Walks take place on the first Friday of every month from 5 - 8 pm through December.  The walk includes galleries, museums, and jewelry studios - just a short distance from each other with fun stuff to see & do for everyone.  Click here for details & photos of what is in store for you.

Music is a big part of Asheville's past and present.  Steve Martin and Edie Brickell have a song on their new album Love Has Come for You titled When You Get to Asheville.  Check out this video of them performing it on The Late Show with David Letterman.

In case you didn't know it, Asheville is famous for its local craft breweries and has been named Beer City USA.  Asheville's Beer Week starts May 25th and runs through June 1st.  See our blog for details about all things beer.  And, check out this video for a fun look at the local beer scene in our weird little town.

Last year Good Morning America named Asheville, North Carolina one of the most beautiful places in America.  This time lapse video showcases the gorgeous landscapes of the Asheville area with musical accompaniment by a local artist.
