Thanks to Bouchon Chef Michel Baudouin and his staff, the sampling of food offered at The Lion and the Rose Bed and Breakfast was fantastic!  This was the menu:

  • Homemade Country Pate with French Bread
  • Beer City Pork Wings
  • Haricort Vert & Fingerling Potato Salad
  • Chocolate Mousse

                               

Volunteers from the Asheville Sustainable Agriculture Project helped us serve the many visitors we had on June 9th.  After touring the B&B and gardens, tour goers stopped to enjoy the wonderful food before moving on the to the next inn.

This is the second year that the Asheville Bed and Breakfast Association has held this tour of inns with a sampling of food from local, independently owned restaurants.  We will start planning for the 2013 tour soon, and hope that Bouchon will partner with us again.
