Biltmore Festival of Flowers April 7 - May 20, 2012
Welcome spring with thousands of tulips and acres of azaleas as Biltmore celebrates its 27th anniversary of Festival of Flowers. Experience the beauty of century old gardens throughout the 8,000 acre estate.
In April, thousands of tulips in the Walled Garden and around the estate will shine in hues of red, gold, pink, and purple. By May, the show continues with irises, peonies and acres of azaleas, with summer blooms soon to follow.
Additional festival activities include:
- Live music daily in Biltmore House and the Conservatory
- "Ask a Gardener" station featuring Biltmore's horticulture experts answering guest questions on the week ends
- Daily complimentary seminars in the Conservatory
- Music in the Bandstand at Antler Hill Village every Friday
The gardens at our Asheville Bed and Breakfast near Biltmore will offer a small sample of spring in the Southern Highlands. And, we have Biltmore Estate tickets available for $45 each which are good for two consecutive days.
Many visitors come to Asheville in October to enjoy the fall leaf season, but we think spring is the most beautiful time of the year in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina!
