Ernesto & Megan

Our Asheville Bed and Breakfast is small with just five guest rooms and a dining area for twelve maximum.  Therefore, we don't promote weddings at our inn.  But last year a young couple assured us that their wedding party would be very small and the ceremony would only take a few hours, so we agreed - especially since it was during our slow season.

Megan & Ernesto, the bride and groom, live and work in Asheville, and are raising two great boys who they included in the  ceremony.

The wedding turned out perfect and was an emotionally moving experience; for the guests as well as for us, the innkeepers.

This January, Ernesto and Megan returned to The Lion and The Rose for an overnight stay to celebrate their one year anniversary, and they agreed to let us share these photos from their 2012 wedding.
