Biltmore Candlelight Christmas Evenings: November 11, 2011 - December 31, 2011

On Christmas Eve 1895, George Vanderbilt first opened Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina to family & friends.  This annual celebration continues for everyone to enjoy.

Known for being one of the largest holiday displays in the Southeast, guests will see dozens of Christmas trees, hundreds of wreaths, bows, and poinsettias, miles of evergreen garland, and thousands of ornaments.

Moogfest 2011

Moogfest is an annual celebration of Bob Moog's legacy as a sonic pioneer.  In 1964 he invented the Moog Synthesizer and revolutionized popular music.


The festival is a three day multi-venue event held in Asheville, North Carolina - the place Bob Moog called home for the last 30 years of his life.

Asheville, North Carolina is not known as the Paris of the South just because of it's great restaurants and bohemian atmosphere, but primarily due to the large number of artists who live and work here.  Musicians, visual artists, and writers all thrive in our town.
