23 Things To Do in Asheville in 2023

January 10, 2023

Happy New Year!!!

We wish you all the best in 2023 and hope to see you soon!

We are excited to share our January “Adventures in Asheville” podcast with twenty three of our favorite things to do in Asheville. This show was inspired by the book, 100 Things To Do in Asheville Before You Die. Featured guests include:

  • Kristy Tolley, author of 100 Things To Do in Asheville Before You Die
  • Kaye Bentley of Asheville Rooftop Bar Tours
  • Nicole Will of Asheville Wellness Tours
  • Kyle Samples of LaZoom comedy bus tours

This episode covers everything essential in Asheville from bar hopping and breweries to yoga hikes and forest bathing to comedy and music entertainment to nature and the outdoors to history and the iconic Biltmore Estate.

We are honored to be included in this book for our beermosas served at breakfast. As craft beer connoisseurs, we went from enjoying craft breweries to brewing our own beer for over eight years now. This hobby seemed like a natural fit to be a fun amenity at our inn. Adding another unique beer in Beer City USA to share with guests has become a part of The Lion and the Rose. That simple amenity has since evolved into offering two different beers on tap, beer slushies at various times during the summer and of course, our beermosas with breakfast every Sunday. You never know what we might come up with next.

You can listen to this podcast on demand below.

If you are looking to buy a copy of 100 Things To Do in Asheville Before You Die , you can pick one up at one of our favorite spots, Battery Park Book Exchange and Champagne Bar, located on Page Avenue here in Asheville, North Carolina.

We look forward to seeing you in 2023 and helping you plan your fun adventures in Asheville!

We are lucky to have great friends that grew up in Asheville. They have told us about some interesting local hauntings and strange experiences. With Halloween around the corner, we thought this was the right time to share some of these ghost stories and legends of paranormal activity.
