Inn Happenings

In just under two weeks, Steve and I will be celebrating our seventh inniversary here at The Lion and the Rose Bed and Breakfast. Where has the time gone? We’ve been through a pandemic and a hurricane and luckily, we are happy to still be here doing what we love. We feel privileged to be the innkeepers of this beautiful, historic inn and to have met so many wonderful people. Many thanks to both our repeat and new guests for giving us the opportunity to be your home away from home while visiting Asheville.

With summer winding down, the time for Fall is upon us. Fall in the mountains not only brings beautiful color but also cooler temperatures and fun activities including history, the arts, music, food, libations, the outdoors, and the spooky season. These are our 20 Must Do Fall Activities in Asheville.

As some of you already know, we sadly lost our beloved inn dog, Oreo, to canine cancer. It has been such a difficult time for all of us and we know many of you loved Oreo as much as we did. Thank you so much for all of your love and support during this sad and heartbreaking time. Your kind words and condolences mean a lot to us.

Thank you to all of our guests, friends, family and neighbors for supporting us over the last five years. It has been a dream come true to be innkeepers of The Lion and the Rose Bed and Breakfast. We thank each and every one of you for all the wonderful memories over the past five years. We look forward to sharing more great times and moments together.
